Interview with Maria Zakharova, coming soon!

I am very pleased that my interview & conversation with Maria Zakharova will be published soon on MintPress News.   Mint has tweeted a short trailer.

Maria’s words are powerful, she is a sage voice in the face of endless Western media and politicians’ lies and, frankly, fake news.  I thank her for the generous amount of time she gave me, and for her integrity.
*I’ve been working very hard on this. It would have been out a week or more ago, but I did have a technical problem: the video editing file and the backup file which I had almost completed work on suddenly failed and would not open. I had to start over from the beginning, while travelling & doing some interviews in Crimea.

In spite of tech issues, I finally finished the last bit yesterday. I’m grateful to Mint for adding very nice finishing and professional touches, and for publishing the interview!

  1. Many have been waiting for such an interview with Ms. Zakharova. People will be surprised when hearing the excellent English spoken by the wise Maria Zakharova, not to mention what will most certainly be important information. If fortunate, her voice will become heard on more English-speaking media platforms.

  2. Eva, thank you for going to the places we read or hear about in the main stream media. And risking your safety to give us your perspective based on observations and interviews with the people. When I read the main stream media outlets I keep thinking about what George Orwell wrote in, Looking back on the Spanish War,

Early in life I have noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper, but in Spain, for the first time, I saw newspaper reports which did not bear any relation to the facts, not even the relationship which is implied in an ordinary lie. I saw great battles reported where there had been no fighting, and complete silence where hundreds of men had been killed. I saw troops who had fought bravely denounced as cowards and traitors, and others who had never seen a shot fired hailed as the heroes of imaginary victories; and I saw newspapers in London retailing these lies and eager intellectuals building emotional superstructures over events that had never happened. I saw, in fact, history being written not in terms of what happened but of what ought to have happened according to various ‘party lines’.

And then I come back your site. Keep up the good work and take care.
