What I’ve seen of Ukraine’s war crimes against civilians in the Donbass over the years

An overview of testimonies I’ve taken here in the Donbass republics since my first visit in September 2019. Since then, over the course of 2022 and now 2023, I’ve returned to the Donbass 8 more times, each visit (except the March 2 day visit) for around 3 weeks. During each visit, Ukraine has intensely shelled the city centre, including markets, hospitals, parks, busy central streets. Ukraine’s shelling has exploded minibuses–passengers burned alive–and has torn bodies apart: I’ve by this point see over 3 dozen mulilated bodies in the streets of Donetsk, a horrific sight and tragically a sight most Donbass residents have seen over and over since Ukraine began bombing them in 2014.

  1. Thank you for this. I will be spreading it around as well as I can.
    It’s fairly horrible, the slow persistent dawning of the realisation that WE are the villains in the world. At least while we adhere to the practices now current.
    We must accept it though, and reveal it thoroughly and become aware of it or we’ll never change it.
    And I feel the need for change becomes daily more imperative.
    Soon they’ll be locking us up for undetermined periods without sentence or appeal at the press of a button that make our cellphone ID that of a ‘banned’ person. As in China with their red and green QR codes. Or as in Shanghai with their simple edict.
    And, of course, the ‘cancelling’ of us as individuals with property rights will go along with that.
    The situation is very, very dire it seems to me.
    This kind of reportage is precisely what we need at this juncture – and probably for evermore.
    Main Stream Media is dead. Is a toxic virus. We need an app that blocks it away from us.
    The people’s media of truth today is only to be found in places like this. This IS the new world.
