In this forum, particularly interesting is the speech given by Sara Flounders, of the International Action Center, on her visits to Syria, on the reasons behind the global war on Syria and the documentation of US planning the destabilization of Syria since at least 2005. Flounders also gives historical context to the lead-up to the 2011-begun war on Syria, as well as the many reasons why the NATO-GCC-Zionist alliance want to destabilize and break apart Syria.

For this episode we are joined by activist and freelance journalist Eva Bartlett for an in-depth discussion of the war in Syria. Fresh from her fourth trip to the embattled nation, Eva lends us her perspective of what it’s actually like on the ground. Eva recounts the many places she has visited, and the current living conditions of the Syrian people. Eva and I discuss the numerous terrorist groups and gangs operating within Syria, and the disappearance of groups such as the FSA and other “moderate rebel” groups. Eva also offers us an alternative narrative about the Maddaya starvation story that gripped news headlines and then vanished. We discuss the propaganda involved in this story and its similarity to the skewed reporting of the terrorist siege of Yarmouk.
This is a recent interview I gave on the popular Sott Radio Network, on Behind the Headlines.
We discuss Palestine, what I’ve seen there, how the zionist strategy has been to make life as unbearable, unliveable, as possible throughout occupied Palestine.Having lived several years and two brutal massacres in Gaza, I talk about the manifold zionist war crimes perpetrated again and again on Palestinians, including use of White Phosphorous, killing medics, shooting civilians in the border region, and more.
We talk about the circumstances in Palestine today and the savagery of the occupation army which, for example, recently threatened to gas all residents of Aida camp, threatened to slaughter the Palesitnian in their captivity, if another STONE was thrown. The level of zionist sadism has been ramped up and Palestinians are rightly Resisting.

“This week on Behind the Headlines we’ll be discussing the conflicts in the Middle East and assessing where it’s all likely to end up.
First up, we’re interviewing Canadian freelance journalist and human rights activist Eva Bartlett. Bartlett has lived in the Gaza Strip since late 2008, and was aboard the Dignity, one of five Free Gaza missions to successfully sail to the Strip that year. Bartlett reported from Gaza during the 2008/2009 and 2012 Israeli attacks. She has visited Syria three times since April 2014, including independently on a journalist visa. Her Syria writings are collated on this page.
Later in the show, we’ll also be speaking with Iranian-American Navid Nasr, writer, political analyst and host of the ‘Bullet Points’ radio show on the ‘Voices of the 99%’ radio network. Nasr has covered US and global conflicts – including those in Syria, Ukraine, Egypt, Yemen and Libya – for Lebanese Al-Etejah TV and PressTV.
Join us this Sunday, 1st November 2015, from 2-4pm EST / 8-10pm CET, for the perspective you won’t hear on the mainstream media.”

–Feedback on talks I’ve given on Palestine
Eva Bartlett’s presentation on Gaza should be heard by every American, including every single member of Congress. I am quite sure that they would end the American taxpayers’ financial support of the Israeli Occupation of Palestine if they only knew the horrors our money was paying for. Bartlett spoke beautifully, in a clear, articulate voice, presenting all the details of Israeli atrocities in a most professional manner. Her speech contained no rhetoric or pretense, with no hint of ego; she just described the facts that she has witnessed living in Gaza for several years. Her modest and captivating demeanor made her presentation all the more powerful. I strongly recommend everyone to make every effort to attend a presentation by Eva Bartlett, or organize one yourself if there are none nearby. It is a real privilege to hear her speak.
–Jane Jewell, 14 Friends of Palestine, founder
I’m very honoured to consider these three fine human beings as close friends. They speak the truth on the Zionist project of stealing all of Palestine, as well as neighbouring countries, and of so-called “israel”‘s treating and funneling of terrorists into sovereign Syria as part of the NATO-alliance war ON Sryia.
Speech by Br. Zafar Bangash at Toronto Al-Quds Day Rally 2015
I’ve expressed the similar sentiments to these below in the past, but the subject came up again today on social media and, as it is of utmost importance, I’m posting the commentaries here.
Navid Nasr began the needed exchange with these words:
“Apparently, for a lot of both Palestinian and non-Palestinian advocates for Palestine and the Palestinian people, the road to Palestinian liberation lies through the destruction of Libya, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Tunisia, and now Egypt. Good to know.”
“Islamist Palestinians… and that’s a direct outcome of saudi indoctrination, this is in fact a very familiar tune that we’ve all heard before during that woebegone cold war era when, at the time, the road to palestine essentially went through “communist afghanistan”; except that palestine was never at any point intended to be the destination of their GCC/CIA-sponsored jihad after the “liberation of kabul” just as it will never be their destination after their intended “liberation of damascus”; that was basically one of saudi arabia’s (and other gulf reactionary regimes’) main calling cards to recruit thousands of “arab mujahideen” to fight the soviet presence in afghanistan on behalf and at the behest of the reagan administration, and at the same time ensure the continued deliberate marginalization of palestine as a central cause for the arab and islamic worlds.
it’s the same brand of insidious indoctrination that prevails today and relegates palestine to the back burner while giving credence and urgency to whatever rotten cause that the saudi ruling dynasty chooses (or is instructed) to champion in their ever onward quest to serve the imperial interests of the west; everything takes a back seat to their unrelenting efforts to plant the seeds of discord and fan the flames of an all-out sectarian war across the region.”
